1986 Ankara Gazi
Üniversitesi Mesleki Eğitim Fakültesi uygulamalı
resim dalı mezunuyum. Nevşehir-Avanos doğumluyum.
İstanbul’un çeşitli okullarında resim, grafik
tasarım ve sanat tarihi öğretmenliği yaptım. 2006
yılında emekli oldum. Resim, grafik ve tasarım
çalışmalarımı Bodrum ve İstanbul’daki atölyemde
devam ettirmekteyim. Öğrencilerimin katıldığı
İstanbul’daki atölye çalışmalarında, sanatçı ve
öğretmen kişiliğimi kaynaştırarak, hem
öğrencilerimin yaratıcılıklarını geliştirerek
öğretmeyi hedefliyor, hem de kendilerine özgün
tarzlar kullanarak üretimde bulunmalarını teşvik
ediyorum. Bunların dışında, “Temel Tasarım”
konusunda araştırmalarım ve ders kitabı niteliğinde
çalışmalarım bulunmaktadır.

RESİMLERİM ÜSTÜNE
İlk dönem çalışmalarım genel olarak sulu boya,
yağlıboya pastel karışımı ve gravür tekniği ile
yapılmış figürsüz doğa yorumları, natürmort ve
peyzaj konularındaki resimlerden oluşmaktadır. Daha
sonraki çalışmalarımda figür ön plana çıkmış ve
genellikle akrilik tekniği kullanılmıştır.
Çalışmalarımda, görsel imgelerle kurulan fantastik
konular, geçmişten geleceğe uzanan süreçler ve
huzuru hedefleyen özgün temalara yer verilmiştir.
Tuval üzerinde figürle doğanın bütünleşen
kompozisyonları fantezi ile olgunlaşmıştır.
NATURALİST ve SÜRREALİST akımın izlerinin bolca
görüldüğü çalışmalarımda, efsanevi ve hayali bir
dünyada, denizler, dalgalar, gökyüzü, güneş, doğa,
atlar ve çocuksu heyecanların baloncukları coşkulu
renklerle birlikte adeta iç içe dans eder. Resimler,
kendisine bakan kişilerin mutsuz olan ifadelerini
bile yumuşatarak, biraz olsun gülümsemesini
sağlayacak mizahi bir anlatıma sahiptir.
Özellikle son dönem çalışmalarımda, doğa ve kadını,
gerçek üstü yaklaşımlar ve karmaşık hayali
mekanlarda, yerçekimsiz özgürlük duygusu ile ele
alıp, detaylı doku denemeleri ve canlı renklerle
yansıtmaya çalışıyorum. Düşsel imgeler ve başkalaşım
temasını resimlerde birleştirerek izleyiciyle
paylaşıyorum. Resimlerimde zaman zaman destansı ve
şairsel ifadeler geliştirmeye, bunlara kaderi, alın
yazısını, isyanı ve kaçışları ilave ederek, farklı
bir üslup yaratmaya çalışıyorum. Bu ifade tarzında
biraz coşku, bol hareket ama her zaman yüce bir
duygu oluşumu akseder. İzleyenler, resimlerdeki
dokusal ayrıntılar ve hareketli figürlere
daldıklarında, farkına varmadan yavaş yavaş hayatın
başlangıcına, doğaya ve doğallığa dönük bir
psikolojik eğilim içinde hissederler kendilerini.
Zira, kullandığım ağaçlar, kökler, dallar, çiçekler
ve insan figürleri, damlacıklardan ve baloncuklardan
oluşan dokusal yorumlar arasında, izleyiciyi adeta
kendi düş dünyasında bir yolculuğa çıkarmaya teşvik
ediyor. Bilinmeyen gizli yolculuklara gidişi
sağlayan yumuşak doku titreşimleri, telaşlı ışık
dağılımları ve armonik renkli fonlar, hayal gücünü
zorlayarak izleyiciyi kucaklamaktadır.
Resimlerdeki renk oyunları ve tonlamalar, ışıklı
gökler, transparan denizler, sert çorak topraklar,
çiçekler ve ağaçlar, ortak zemin içinde yepyeni ve
karmaşık bir doğal ortam oluşturarak, tarihsel
kılıklara bürünmüş insanı, tutkulu bir aşkla dans
ettiren figürlere dönüştürmektedir. Bir anlamda,
doğa ve insan, efsanelerden temel alan düşlerle
başkalaşan bir dünyada oyun oynamaktadır. Bu oyunda,
bitmek bilmeyen bir tarihsel mücadele ve kazanım
sürecine dönüşen, kadınsı serbestlik ve özgürlük
hasretinin dramatize edilmiş izleri görülmektedir.
Eserlerimde doğanın doğal yanını, tarihsel fantastik
süreçler içinde ve kadının içsel mücadelesini de
kapsayacak şekilde rengarenk bir ortamda
yansıtabilme çabasına girdim. YAŞAMI ayrıntılarda
gizledim ve bazen bir kaosa dönüşse bile, görsel ve
grafiksel bir yolculuk şöleni tertipledim.
Kendimize, köklerimize ve düşlerimize dönük, çocuksu
ama dramatik bir özgürlük yolculuğu.
Bu düşsel şölene katılmaya herkes davetlidir.

Biography
I graduated from Ankara Gazi University Vocational
Education Faculty - Art Department in 1986. I was
born in Nevsehir-Avanos. I taught art and graphic
design in different schools of Istanbul. I retired
in 2006.I continue my graphic and art works in my
workshop in Istanbul and Bodrum.
I like producing and also improving and directing my
students’ creativity by teaching with my artistic
and teaching personality. Besides my art works, I
search and write the book called “Basic Design”
which is taught at vocational high schools. My work
continues. The book contains my students’ works and
my researches.

About My Paintings
My first period of works consist of interpretations
of nature without figures, naturmort, and landscape.
Later on, figures have been the priority. I worked
with watercolour, oil paint pastel mixed technique,
engraving technique. My last works are acrylic
techniques on canvas.
The subjects are fantastic process produces with
visual images which are both mixed with specific
subjects such as peaceful past and future. The
completed figures and nature compositions are
maturated with fantasia.
Naturalist and surrealist movements can be seen in
my works. They are mixed with legendary enthusiastic
colours. You certainly realize the impact of
childish excitement. Sea, waves, sky, sun, nature,
horses etc. It is like; life takes you to the dreams.
They can soften your unhappy expressions and make
you smile. You can easily realize the humorous
expressions.
In my last period of works, I reflect nature and
woman in dreamy sophisticated environments without
gravity but with the feeling of freedom and also
with surrealist and physical approaches. I share
with the audience the dreamy imaginations. In my
pictures from time to time, I am trying to develop
epical and poetical expressions and I am trying to
create a different expression by adding them destiny,
escape and revolt. This style of expression reflects
a little bit enthusiasm ,a lot of movement and it
also always reflects an exalted formation of
sentiments. When the wievers plunge into the histoid
details and moving figures, without understanding,
they feel themselves slowly in a physchological
sense of turning into the nature and the beginning
of life. Among the trees, the branches, the roots,
the flowers, the figures of people, the histoid
interpretation of the drops and balloons that I use,
encourage the wiever to voyage in his own dream
world. Vibrations of soft texture, agitated light
dispersions and harmonical , colourful backgrounds
which provide secret and unknown voyages, embrace
the wievers by forcing the imagination. In the
pictures, the games of colours, glimmering skys,
transparent seas, barren grounds, flowers and trees
form a new and complex nature in a common background
and they transform the people who play the role of
historical form into the figures dance with
passionate love. In an other meaning, people and
nature play in a world which is based on legends and
changes with dreams. In this game you can see the
dramatized traces of a never-ending historical fight
which is turning to an advantage process, latitude
feminine, yearning freedom.
In my paintings, I tried to reflect the innate of
the nature in historical fantastic processes and the
inherent hassle of the woman enclosed by a colourful
structure. I bury the LIFE in the details even if it
turns to a chaos, I prepare a feast of visual and
graphical journey. This is a freedom journey, which
is puerile but dramatic, turns to ourselves, to our
roots, to our dreams. Everyone is invited to this
surreal feast. |
